Photo Album: Making A Basement A Happy Place For Foster Dogs In Newfane, NY

Finishing a basement to create a comfortable and happy space for a couple who rescue dogs, so the dogs have a warm and safe place to play in when winter hits in Western New York. The basement remodel included new EverLast Wall Systems, a new door, painting the ceiling, new wiring, recessed lights in the ceiling to flood the space with a warm glow, and a whole new floor made up of our Thermal Dry plank flooring. The basement already had an egress window and due to the size of the basement and that the space was not being broken up into seperate rooms, we did not need to install another egress window.

Thermal Dry Floors Have Been Installed And EverLast Wall Panels Are Going Up

Our EverLast Wall Systems are going up! As is the baseboard! The basement is starting to come together, and you can see how it will be a very comfortable and cozy space for the homeowners to play with their rescue dogs in during the cold weather months. The recessed lights that we installed have given this basement a bright warm glow that makes the Thermal Dry floors glimmer and shine.

Finished Project!

We installed one of our beautiful 6-Panel doors to finish the project. It works well with our EverLast Wall Systems and the base color compliments all of our Elite Thermal Dry floors. The door is paintable so the homeowners can customize it if they would like to in the future!

The plastic on the left is similar to what many contractors will put over fiberglass insulation, and looking at this photo you can see why we use the EverLast Wall Panels compared to just plastic.

The floors have been installed! Our fantastic Elite Thermal Plank Flooring has been installed and is glowing in the lights (that we also installed). This flooring is our Grey Elite Thermal Plank Flooring, it is extremely durable and easy to keep clean.
