Photo Album: Working On An Open Concept Basement In Buffalo, NY

A couple in Buffalo, NY needed more space for their family in Buffalo, NY. The couple has foster children and they needed a space to store items so they had more space on their main floors. When meeting with our Design Specialist they wanted to focus on keeping the basement an open space, and they really wanted help refinishing their basement stairs which had become rather rickety with time. We do not normally redo basement stairs, but with a larger finishing project like this we can work with homeowners on them. Our install team had its work cut out for them as the staircase needed to be fully replaced. A bit of patience, a lot of skill, and some teamwork made that happen for the homeowners. Then our EverLast Wall Panels and ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring were installed. This space is clean and safe for the family's needs. We hope that it will give them the space that they need for a long time to come.

The Finished Basement

The basement is finished with our EverLast Wall Panels being appropriately trimmed and the baseboards being added next to our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring. A 6 panel door finishes the space and covers the sump pump. Though sump pumps look clean and nice they also still look like sump pumps so a finished space looks better with them covered by a utility closet.

The basement is finished with our EverLast Wall Panels being appropriately trimmed and the baseboards being added next to our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring. The new stairs look clean, bright, and ready to be a safe passage for the homeowners for many years to come.

Sometimes photos taken at a distance don't really show the difference between our EverLast Wall Panels and the basement walls before. This photo perfectly illustrates the difference and shows how our ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring looks fantastic with both too!

The New Stairs

The new stairs have been installed and are safe for the homeowners to use. *Note: We do not do basement stairs alone as a project, but we will occasionally repair or replace them as a part of a larger basement finishing project.*
