Waiting To Finish A Basement In Orchard Park, NY

Challenge

In the winter of 2018 we had a customer contact us about finishing his basement. He had a vision of a space with multiple rooms, including a bathroom in his basement, which was only being used as a children's play area at the time. It was a fairly new build, and a blank slate as the wall were semi-insulated but that was it for finishing there.  

The man's schedule was packed with family commitments though, and his wife was equally busy making it hard to get a meeting in with them to go through the design options.  He wanted an elaborate remodel of the basement, adding 3 rooms including a bathroom to the existing space. After the initial consulation with a Design Specialist, the man decided to hold on the project until there was a better time for his family to do it.

Solution

TBF of WNY waited, and contacted the customer at the end of 2018. He was happy to hear from us, and decided to go forward with the work in his basement later in the summer of 2019. Our Design Specialist met with the man and his wife again, and discussed the design. They wanted to change things a little, removing the bathroom that was in the original plans so the space would be finished more quickly for their family to use again.  

Our Design Specialist was happy to redo the plans and worked with the couple to meet their family's new basement needs.  The refinishing project took about a month total and left the couple happy to have their basement beautiful.
