Finishing Makes A Dream Basement In West Valley, NY
Challenge
In the summer of 2019, a couple in West Valley, NY contacted us asking for help with ideas for their basement. They knew that they wanted a space that they could enjoy time in and relax in, but they didn't have many plans other than that. This is a great challenge for our Design Specialists as it lets TBF of WNY have space to make dreams come true in a basement.
Solution
Our Design Specialist Paul met with the couple and measured the basement. After speaking with them about the project, the couple decided to finish just over half the basement into a rec room that they could relax in, and leave the rest unfinished for storage. This would let them set up a games table as well as give them space for a sofa to watch TV on. It let them create a home theater setting that is perfect for watching movies or sports in. And installing a SaniDry XP Air System helped the space too, as it reduces the humidity in the basement which improves the air quality in the whole house.
