Finishing A Floor In Attica, NY

Challenge

A couple in Attica, NY came to us with a nearly finished basement. They had made it a happy sports themed area that had only one problem, the floor was unfinished which left the room looking like it was only half done.  The floor was down to bare concrete. And the couple was using a small dehumidifier, which was inadiquate for the size of their playful basement.

Solution

Our Design Specialist met with the couple and looked at their needs. They agreed that our Therma Dry Flooring was perfect for their space, and they chose it in the "Espresso Elite" color, which added a rich tone to the color palatte and complemented their existing sports theme.  The Therma Dry Flooring gave their basement a fantastic wood look but with a water resistant aspect that wood doesn't have (as our Therma Dry Flooring won't warp like wood). They loved that we could re-install the existing baseboard with their new floor and keep current dynamics of the basement in place.

We also installed our Sani-Dry XP Basement Air System to replace their small dehumidifier. It's energy star rated and will not only improve the air quality in the basement but will also help the couple save money on their electric bill in the long run.
