Working With Construction Season in Chautauqua, NY

Challenge

A fantastic customer came to us from Chautauqua, NY. He had just bought a home around the Chautauqua Institute, and wanted the basement remodeled to match the beauty of the rest of the house.  The challenge with this was that the area the house is located in has a very specific construction season and the customer was concerned about our ability to do the work in the time frame given.

Solution

The area's construction season wasn't a problem for Total Basement Finishing of WNY.  Our Design Specialist met with the homeowner early to make sure that we had the permitted work dates and the home owner's specifications for the project right. We ordered materials and made sure that everything was ready to go for the project so that we could avoid delays. And we sent out one of our fantastic crews who got everything done timely. We added special touches to help the basement match the rest of the home, like working to find doors that coordinated with those in the rest of the home, and adding bronze knobs similar to those on the main level of the home.

We also remodeled the bathroom, and added a drop ceiling to make the basement even better. And an Egress Window brought the basement up to New York State code, and added a natural light source to the basement. This truely turned out to be a beautiful job.
