Making A Basement Fresh And New In West Seneca, NY
Challenge
In October 2020, a woman who had just moved into her new home in West Seneca, NY contacted us at Total Basement Finishing of WNY. She wanted to redo her basement. The previous owners of her new home had children and they let the kids draw all over the basement walls, making the basement look like a mess and not the comfortable space that she was thinking of for it.
Solution
The homeowner met with our Design Specialist Kenton and he went over our finishing options with her. She decided on finishing 3/4 of the basement with our EverLast Wall Panels, painting the ceiling, adding an Egress Window for safety, and adding some new outlets and recessed lights to keep her new basement open for any uses that she wanted. She also wanted to make sure that things would be nice around the laundry area so she could relax while doing this chore. She chose to hold on doing the floor with the rest of the project as she wasn't sure what type of flooring she wanted in her new space.
