In the summer of 2020 new homeowners in Amherst, NY contacted Total Basement Finishing for help with their basement. It was in good condition but it wasn't the way that they had been picturing it to use as a family room in their new home. They met with our Design Specialist Kenton and went over their ideas with him. Together they worked up a design for their basement that made a large family room, a laundry area, and a utility room.

The homeowners were very involved in the project planning and wanted to rework the design a few times as they wanted to move and upgrade their hot water unit for the house and make sure that the heating in the basement would work for their new family room.

Solution

Kenton and the Project Coordinator Gerry stayed in touch with the homeowners and brought their ideas into the design. Gerry took their design needs back to the architect to have the necessary drawings for the permits remade. These come with an additional cost but it's worth it to have everything that you want as a homeowner done.
